 Dr Ioannis Demetriades

Dr Ioannis Demetriades is specialized in respiratory medicine with long hospital experience and rich research work.

Member of the scientific team of Nicosia Lung Center that provides services regarding the diagnosis and treatment

of respiratory diseases and the specialized infrastructure to investigate the entire spectrum of sleep disorders. 

Work Experience

  • Head of Grigorios HIV Clinic at the Larnaca General Hospital.
  • Head of Pulmonary Clinic and Clinic COVID-19 at Larnaca General Hospital.
  • Medical Director at Larnaca General Hospital for COVID-19.
  • Head of HIV/AIDS Program at the Ministry of Health.
  • Member of the Operation Team for COVID-19 at Cyprus State Health Services Organization.
  • Periodic service provision as Acting Director of Medical Services at the Ministry of Public Health.
